Prior Design Application

In the previous design, the fill and vent stems (which are rigidly attached to the rocket plumbing) protruded from the rocket by over an inch. This is something my design eliminates, which is estimated by our simulation to increase our apogee by around 3,000 feet.

This is another view of the quick disconnects from our launch trailer. In this photo it is even more evident how much the stem protrudes from the rocket.
